So with great joy this work which features one of my favourite birds heads north to Gulgong for its final resting place. I am delighted to be a long distance member of the Society and to have the opportunity to be part of an artists group in the country that I so love.
Painting is not the first preference but always great to get a work completed. This work on square board goes to Gulgong Art Society to become part of an eventual mural of members works which will be featured on a building as an outside gallery in this beautiful little town which once featured on the Ten dollar note and is known as the home for a period of time of the Famous Australian Author Henry Lawson. So with great joy this work which features one of my favourite birds heads north to Gulgong for its final resting place. I am delighted to be a long distance member of the Society and to have the opportunity to be part of an artists group in the country that I so love.
