Newcastle Printmakers 27 Popran Street Adamstown the new venue for the Owls from 27th September to the 30th. 37 framed works and nine masks and one clay sculpture graced the walls and tables of the workshop. Visitors were interested in the owls, their plight, the art work and enjoyed the multisensory approach. The Nights Watch Parliament bringing birds of the night has certainly done that this year with movement from Central Coast to Cessnock Regional Gallery, Mary Cairncross Rainforest Reserve at Maleny and Newcastle Printmakers Workshop. Should you wish to know more about the owls, purchase an owl work or bring this body of work to your gallery especially in Regional NSW contact me personally @ [email protected] This is not all of the work with huge 2.3X.6 metre handpainted and printed panels as well, including more framed and clay work to come. As works sell new ones are created to add new infusion into the show.
