Cheryl McCoy and I have worked on a series of multilayered prints since January 2015. This started in New Zealand at the Browne School of Art where we did a weeks Master Class with Alexis Neale. We both love travel in Australia and have deep connections to the country and the land. We are both passionate about printmaking so with all that hand in hand we decided to have an exhibition where we shared ideas, and produced work and then exhibit. Sharing ideas and viewing images of the desert captured by Cheryl while travelling. A snippet of print with many many layers. Research, photography, drawing, monoprinting, intaglio printing, collograph all combine to create one unique image.
