The show will be split between both venues with the 2.3metre handpainted and printed panels and masks on display with Powerpoint at The Warrumbungles Visitor Centre and thirty eight framed works at The Pilliga Reserve.
The show will be on exhibition from 2nd December to the 29th January. This show features five species of owls. The Powerful, Grass, Masked, Sooty and Barking Owl.
All of these wonderful raptors are threatened. This exhibition through art focusses on the owls raising awareness of them and their plight.
This show has been been to Wyong, Cessnock, Newcastle and Maleny in Queensland and now heads out to Regional NSW. There will be artist talk and workshops and talks about the owls and some owl art with the local schools.
The official opening is at The Pilliga Reserve on Friday 4th December at 6p.m. Therese looks forward to seeing you there viewing the art and learning all about these wonderful creatures of the night.
