MEMBERS WORKSHOP - TETRA PAK RUN BY THERESE G. WILKINS
Learn the art of recycling and create your printmaking plate from tetra pak a versatile material acquired from the packing of the Long Life Milk, some Juice cartons .
You can carve into the aluminium on the inside and create an image.
Some people are disturbed by the line in the packaging where it is folded however you can add these lines to your image or incorporate them to be part of your image.
It is an enjoyable process and the plates are easily attainable and really light to carry. This is a huge advantage if you were travelling and wanted to create some plates while away once carved they fit flat into your suitcase and can have the joy of printing them on your return. They are easy to store once you have cleaned and flattened the cartons taking up very little space.
Think about becoming a member of the Makers and getting along to the members workshops, joining in lino club, textile club and all the other activities that are happening.
